Our Amazing President |
As 2025 wraps up, I want to thank all of you for another wonderful year at our Centre. From lively games to coffee chats, fitness classes to friendly banter, you’ve filled our days with energy, laughter, and more than a few unforgettable moments.
Now, as we look ahead to 2026, I’m excited for what’s to come—new activities, familiar favorites, and maybe even a few surprises (don’t worry, no pop quizzes… unless it’s trivia night!).
On behalf of our team, I wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May your holidays be filled with joy, good company, and just the right amount of dessert.
Here’s to another year of fun, friendship, and community spirit—see you in 2026!

Exploring Social Groups for Adults 50+
Think social life slows down after 50? Ha! That’s when the fun really starts 😉. Senior centres and community organizations are practically bursting with groups that prove retirement isn’t about slowing down—it’s about showing up (and maybe showing off a little).
From book clubs where the gossip is juicier than the plot, to dance classes where two left feet are totally welcome, these groups are tailor‑made for curious minds and lively spirits. Coffee, laughter, and the occasional “I can’t believe I tried that!” moment are all part of the package.
Joining isn’t just about penciling something into your calendar—it’s about making new friends, learning skills you didn’t know you wanted, and keeping body and mind happily on their toes (sometimes literally). Retirement years? More like rewirement years—plugging into new adventures, connections, and plenty of laughs 😎.

An Awesome Office Manager |
From the Office Manager’s Desk
As we close out 2025, I want to thank each of you for making our community centre such a vibrant and welcoming place for adults 50+. Your energy, kindness, and participation have kept our programs thriving and our spirit strong.
On a personal note, I am grateful for the many well wishes I received during my recent shoulder replacement recovery—your support has meant the world.
Looking ahead to 2026, I’m excited for the new opportunities, activities, and friendships that await us. Together, we’ll continue to grow, laugh, and celebrate the joy of community.
Wishing you all a healthy, happy, and fulfilling year ahead!
