By the end of this worksheet, you’ll be able to take a photo, find it, and share it with a family member or friend.

  1. Take a Photo
  • Open the Camera app (gray icon with a camera).
  • Make sure you’re in Photo mode.
  • Tap the big white circle to take a picture.

  1. Find the Photo
  • Open the Photos app (colorful flower icon).
  • Tap Recents to see your latest picture.
  • Tap your new photo to open it.

  1. Share the Photo
  • With your photo open, tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up).
  • A menu will appear.

  1. Send by Text
  • In the Share menu, tap Messages.
  • Choose a contact (type their name or number).
  • Tap the blue arrow to send.

  1. Send by Email (Optional)
  • In the Share menu, tap Mail.
  • Enter the person’s email address.
  • Tap Send.

  1. Practice More Sharing Options
  • Try sending your photo to:
    • Facebook or WhatsApp (if installed).
    • AirDrop to someone nearby with an iPhone.

  1. Take a photo of something around you (a cup, a book, or yourself).
  2. Open it in Photos.
  3. Share it with one family member by text.
  4. Share it with one friend by email (if possible).
